Previous WALS Conferences have brought together educators and teachers from China, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Brunei, Indonesia, Thailand, the US, the UK, Sweden, and many other countries around the world to share their research on improving the quality of learning, and experience and practice in Lesson Studies. The events have provided a useful and convivial platform to discuss issues pertaining to teaching and learning. We would like to invite researchers and practitioners from various countries and regions to join us at WALS 2012. It will surely provide a unique opportunity and an international educational arena where teaching practitioners and academics can share their potential collaborative research and development projects. If you have always wanted partners and collaborators across countries and contexts, your participation in WALS 2012 may well be the start of exciting synergies to take your research and practice into more meaningful dimensions.
